1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the MySage application ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
2. Description of service
MySage is an AI-powered personal mentoring application that provides conversational guidance on personal growth, self-improvement, relationships, career, and general wellbeing. The app uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate responses and extract insights from conversations.
3. Not a medical or professional service
MySage is not a therapist, counsellor, psychologist, medical professional, or crisis service.
The app is designed as a personal reflection and growth tool. It does not provide medical advice, mental health diagnosis, or treatment. Sage's responses are generated by AI and should not be treated as professional guidance.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, suicidal thoughts, or any crisis situation, please contact emergency services (000 in Australia, 911 in the US, 999 in the UK) or a crisis line in your country immediately.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use MySage. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
5. Subscriptions and payment
MySage is available as a subscription service:
- Free trial: 7-day free trial for new subscribers
- Monthly subscription: $12.99 AUD per month after the trial period
- Payment is processed through the Apple App Store
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
6. Your data and privacy
Your use of MySage is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- Conversations are ephemeral and not stored on any server
- Personal data is encrypted (AES-256) and stored only on your device
- You can delete all your data at any time from the app's settings
7. Acceptable use
When using MySage, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or extract the app's source code
- Use the app to generate harmful, abusive, or threatening content
- Attempt to manipulate or circumvent the AI's safety guidelines
- Share your subscription access with others
- Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
8. AI-generated content
All responses from Sage are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive to provide helpful and thoughtful responses:
- AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
- Sage's insights and suggestions should not be taken as professional advice
- You are responsible for your own decisions and actions based on conversations with Sage
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content
9. Intellectual property
The MySage app, including its design, code, branding, and content, is the property of Stillpoint Studio. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stillpoint Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of MySage. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, emotional distress, or reliance on AI-generated content.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
11. Modifications to service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue MySage (or any part of the service) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
12. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of MySage shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
